Dragos Great Danes

26th October 2010: It is with great delight that we welcome Faith our new Great Dane pup into the family.

29th August 2010: Have changed our bird page to birds and poultry. We are now breeding Sussex  Chickens. We are reducing our birds to only breeding Canary's

16th August 2010: After a unsuccessful mating Holly is home with us now and we will try again next time.

12th July 2010: Added a picture of Holly our Greyhound.

22th June 2010: Added our Greyhound Holly to the webpage today. More updates coming soon.

4th May 2010: Lots of little updates through out the pages today but nothing major. After getting countless e-mails asking what our stud name Dragos means I thought I'd make a note of it on here Dragos means Precious. Which is a very fitting name for how we view our Great Danes :)

27th April 2010: New Picture of Malina up on our Female Great Dane page. Also a Link to our YouTube Videos added to the Links page.

15th March 2010: All bird pages updated. Many available for sale. One link added to the Links page. Lots more pictures coming soon.

18th February 2010: It's been a long time between updates but we haven't had much to report. We now have a litter planned for 2010 keep a eye out for updates or contact us if you would like to register your interest.

19th March 2009: I have added some recent pictures of Malina. Check them out on the Female Great Danes page.

17th March 2009: We have a new For sale/Wanted page check it out to see what is available.

5th March 2009: We have a new mare arriving soon. Watch for updates

4th March 2009: Jack was brought home to start a couple weeks more work in harness but after trying to work with him and being attacked by biting Marsh Fly's he will head back out the farm till after Marsh Fly season is over! 

29th January 2009: Jack and Izzy are going well out the farm and enjoying there break. I've recently received 2 new ponies a mare and stallion.  I owned a foal from this pair and he was just lovely so I jumped at the opportunity to get these ones. I have since given the mare to family though as she will need some intense care for the next little while. The mare foundered years ago so her feet looked terrible but after a visit from the vet and our lovely farrier she is already walking much easier. We are confident that with time she will improve and be very comfortable and happy.

31st December 2008: Sadly River's pups have gone to there new homes. I miss them heaps already! Jack has been broken to harness now but because of his age has had very limited work with somebody in the cart but he is happy pulling it around empty. Once he is fully mature I'll start a lot more work with him.

23rd December 2008:  I've been a bit slack with pictures and updating things lately but check out the updated pictures that I've just added today. More pictures coming over Christmas!

14th December 2008: River's 2 brindle boy's have both found excellent homes now.  Once they are old enough they will make the big trips to there new homes. 

17th November 2008: Izzy has been mated to Cascade Cougar so hopefully we have a lovely foal to look forward to in 2009.  

16th November 2008: More sad news, Rivers fawn boy "Tank" died today. See Rainbow Bridge for details.

12th November 2008: Izzy has come back into season so she was put in with Jack but he's a bit young and didn't know what to do at all so she has been sent back out to Cascade Cougar so fingers crossed all goes well and we have a very cute 2009 foal.  

4th November 2008: River has had puppies! 4 gorgeous babies delivered all are going well. See puppy page for pictures

20th October 2008: Some good news River had a ultrasound today and is confirmed pregnant to Araquin The Prestige. See puppy page for more details.

7th October 2008: A very sad day, I lost my darling baby boy Max. See Rainbow Bridge for details
